terrible, very bad, not up to scratch, unsatasfactory etc. This word originated in the mountains of a certain area of ireland. It is closly related to Malodejious which is a word that is realativly new.

Thats an ogeous amount of homework! Thats ogeous expensive! He got an ogeous doing. ( he was beaten up badly) ya have an ogeous nose on ya!

When used as a noun or a name odious signifies a person who has achieved the highest level of obnoxious and is generally a super try hard. When given the choice to eat a normal meal or a meal consisting of all organic foods odious will pick the later due to their extreme try hard nature.
