Northerncore

The aesthetic of Northern England and regionalist subculture centered on the landscapes of Northern England. Unlike the "London-centric" view of Britain, Northerncore finds a "bleak-but-defiant" beauty in the grit: red-brick terraces, massive chemical plants, and the grey, rainy skies of the North East and North West.

Visually defined by 2000s low-fi digital camera grain, orange sodium-vapor night glows (industrial flares), and the red-and-gold Northumbrian flag (Flag of Northern England). It shares a "Doomer" soul with Slavic-core and Soviet-nostalgia, emphasizing a working-class identity that is independent of mainstream UK culture.

I was binge watching some Northerncore videos of some random Northern Town at 3 AM; that industrial flare vibe is actually comforting, holy nostalgia.

Northernaire Motel

The Northernaire Motel is a fleabag hotel in the city of Maplewood, MN. People go there to cheat on their spouses, do speedballs, smoke meth, and to have all night ragers. Frequently, furniture and TV’s get thrown out doors and windows. People have been known to run down the nearby highway(s) buck naked. Also, there is a nearby trailer park to buy your party drugs.
