NYC Subway

A crappy old subway system where trains are always delayed, and the system is dirty with littered trash and rats. In is also very crowded, and the doors are always being held and squeeze to get in.

However It is quite satisficing when listening to the trains announcements and engines. (Stand clear of the Closing doors please), (buzzzzzzzzzzz)
Common, I'm gonna be late for work, but the NYC Subway is so messy and trashy that the trains always are delayed!!! But I do love the sounds, so I guess worth it?

NYC Subway

A good subway system operates by the New York transit authority or MTA, Opened on October 27, 1904, the New York City Subway is one of the world's oldest public transit systems, one of the most-used, and the one with the most stations, it has eight A divisions Number lines like the (1) (2) (3) (4) (5) (6) (7) & 42nd shuttle. And seventeen B division letter lines the (A) (B) (C) (D) (E) (F) (G) (J) (L) (M) (N) (Q) (R) (W) (Z) the Franklin avenue and rockaway shuttles. This cool subway system is hated by people who don’t know what transportation in other countries is like, sure the trains gets delayed at some times and some lines are suspended but even if a line is suspended, they still provide FREE SHUTTLE BUSES when there is a subway suspension, and the only real argument with the subway is the homeless people, unlike Amtrak and any other commuter train line the subway is cheap to ride which cost $2.90. The subway rolling stock consist of R46, R68, R62, R62A, R142, R142A, R143, R160A, R160B, R179🍋, R188, R211A and R211T.
Train station announcer: attention, everyone due to track maintenance (2) trains are not running from 241st and Franklin Ave , (2) trains are rerouted to new lots avenue, additionally, there will be free shuttle buses that run between Franklin avenue and Flatbush avenue.

Asshole: like every goddamn time a train is always suspended like what the hell man.

Lady: Ugh stop making a bitch of everything of the subway

Asshole: Can’t u see the shitty people suspended the 2 service

Lady: yeah it may be a bit annoying but still they suspended the line so they can fix the tracks, if they don’t maintain the tracks there can be damage to the tracks that can cause trains to derail and also didn’t they say that they provide free bus service where the train doesn’t run you Old Douchebag.

Asshole: IDGAS about mta their system sucks. I bet other countries have better transit system

Lady: other countries are way worst than NYC, take the Caribbean for example they have no trains and they don’t use proper buses as public transportation, they used shitty sardine can on wheels Toyota hiace that is very inconvenient and they don’t operate everyday they only operate weekdays and what about some African countries like DRC where there is NO public transportation and people have walk with their bare foot, asshole appreciate the NYC Subway and any other public transportation in the USA

flophouse

Any house/apartment/frat house/trailer/etc. which is used for individuals to crash (sleep, chill, hang out, lurk, etc.) for a period of time. In order to "crash", one must not actually live there (e.g. have their name on the lease, own said flophouse, etc.). Flophouses are typically used by college students, drug addicts, transients, vagrants, or other unsavory characters.

A flophouse may also be the home owned by the parents of a college student, who after being away at college, wishes to live as if he/she is still at college (e.g. staying out all night, returning just to crash at mom and dad's house, then leaving again), rather than conforming to the pre-college rules.
Example #1
Dude: (Talking to someone passed out face first on the floor of his college apartment) Hey man, who the hell are you? What do you think this is, a flophouse??

Bro: Sorry dude, I must have passed out for a minute.

Example #2
Mom: Where have you BEEN for the last three days? You come home just to sleep?? What do you think this is, a flophouse??!!

Son: What's your problem? I'm an adult now!

Hate Sink

A person you hate intensely not because they deserve such hatred but because they serve as a focus for your general hatred. A healthy way to dispense with excess animosity.
Jake's not really that big an asshole. He just serves as my hate sink.

A toe rag was originally a foot wrapping used, since mediaeval times up until the mid-nineteenth century, to protect the foot from chafing by boots or shoes. As these were, quite literally, rags they weren’t usually washed, and so with use they became very smelly until they were thrown away. Because of the similarity in smell, toe rag also became the name applied to dried, salted cod or other things with a strong, unpleasant, fishy smell. It didn’t take that long before the name was applied to someone who was an obnoxious, unpleasant OIC.
1 “Socks! Those aren’t socks you smelly git, they’re toe rags!”
2 “What have you been cooking? Smells like toe rag!”
3 “I can smell ‘er fanny from ‘ere, proper toe rag.”
4 That Heale Malcolm is a right toe rag.

Eternity leave

When some resigns or retires from a job, they are on "eternity leave". This can also refer to someone who has passed away, especially someone who worked somewhere for a long time, retired/resigned, then passed away later.
Oh I'm sorry, you didn't know that Kelly is on eternity leave? She resigned and moved to Hawaii!

With regrets I would like to inform you that my boss is officially on eternity leave. I will never see or hear them again. Ever.
