An Romanian word that can be assigned to a person which is either selfish, uncooperative, or straight nasty. It comes from "muie" which means blowjob, as such, a muist is someone who gives the blowjob (figuratively)

1. The fusion of dubstep and the band Muse; most prevalent in the 2nd Law album, which features some heavy bass influences.

2. Matthew Bellamy's vocals and a number of less-well known, Muse-exclusive sounds including eclectic percussion rhythms, slap bass, and keytar...produce this unique sound often confused with actual mainstream "Dubstep".

3. A noun used to represent the unique sounds created by one band only: Muse.

Until I came to my senses and realized they had created a whole new genre of music called musestep, I just thought they were playing old mainstream dub.
