An internet-based criminal method for the installation of unwanted or malicious software through the use of internet advertising media networks and exchanges.

"Dude, some fake AntiVirus software was installed and totally messed up my computer and found out this happened because my free webmail provider was displaying Flash based malvertising banners."

moonvertising 

Moonvertising is a new term used by webmasters with the hope and belief that

1. one day people will indeed live on the moon and since some have already claimed to have purchased land on moon (al these land on moon talks), advetising method need to be widened.

2. there are other intelligence life forms out there and if advertisements in some high tech form can be sent to the moon, those ads can be detected by those other life forms.

"Hey do you think people will live on the moon one day?"
"Yeah of course"
"Do you think everything will be same up there as on the Earth, with internet and businesses and stores and KMK blogs?"
"I guess so. Advertising on the moon is possible"
"True true. Moonvertising heh?"

A modern form of human directional advertising that involves individuals standing in public spaces such as sidewalks, freeway off-ramps, or near gas stations, holding signs to promote local businesses, services, or other ventures. Often framed as an exercise of free speech, panvertising is characterized by its grassroots, direct-to-audience approach and its strategic placement in high-visibility areas to maximize exposure.

A new local business has embraced panvertising, a creative mix of panhandling and advertising, as a grassroots strategy to promote their services and connect directly with the local community in high-traffic public areas.
