locked out

Something that happens to a specific avetard all the time. Norman "Nick" will get locked out of his room so much at The Ave that he might as well just remove the door to his room to prevent it from happening. Once this avetard gets locked out, he will get Henry's axe and try to chomp at the door in order to open which only fucks up the door even more.
Avetard #1 got locked out of his room, might as well go the axe already.

Locked Out

This is a phrase used to describe somebody who is lost, inattentive, or just generally confused. Somebody who does not understand the task presented before them.

This is a reversal of the more common phrase "Locked In"

Nate: What notes?
Roman: Like, the one literally due next period, before our quiz?
Nate: We have a quiz today?!
Roman: You're so locked out.

Lucked Out

Depending on the type of luck you are refering to, i.e. good or bad, this phrase either implies a positive or negative statement. It implies that you recieved as much luck as was possible whether it be good or bad, aka you rode your luck untill it ran out, or simply just ran out of luck.

It should never be 'lucked in' as that just doesn't make any sense!
'Yeah, I lucked out with the weather today' - Foo Fighters concert held during a night that was supposed to have heavy rainfall and instead got little, or
'Nah, I lucked out with the weather today' - Was not able to play tennis due to huge rainfall.
