To make an aside or remark; To talk at or about someone rather than to them. Occurs in groups. The statement generally has no depth of thought to it either.
Glen: "mumble mumble"
James: "Yeah, Glen tried to text me the other day, but it just didn't go through. He was kind of being a dumbass."
To become indecisive and socially awkward; panicky. To become "locked out" of one's head.
"I felt bad for Jenny the other day. She was locked out (of her car) for two hours."
"Sorry I missed the profoundly deep conversation you guys were having. I was locked out (of the house) all night!"
