Loadout Politics
The tendency to uncritically adopt the entire ideological agenda of a socio-political group, triggered solely by a shared alignment on a single core issue.
The phenomenon where an individual automatically embraces the collective beliefs of a political faction without independent evaluation, simply because one of their personal values aligns with that group's platform.
Treating political beliefs like a pre-packaged bundle; the act of blindly adopting a group’s entire ideological package just because you agree with them on one specific issue.

Sarah’s political engagement is a classic example of "Loadout Politics" in action. She initially joined the progressive movement for the sole purpose of advocating for affordable universal healthcare. However, rather than maintaining an independent stance on other issues, she quickly adopted her group’s entire ideological package. Within months, Sarah found herself intensely debating local zoning laws and attending protests against international trade agreements—issues completely unrelated to healthcare—simply because she felt that being a true member of the left required equipping the entire policy 'loadout' without question.
Instead of evaluating each issue on its own merits, Mark fell into the trap of "Loadout Politics". Because he initially aligned with the political right solely to support stricter border security, he felt compelled to adopt their entire ideological package without question. Soon, he found himself vocally opposing green energy initiatives and defending corporate deregulation—two issues he had never previously cared about—simply because those views came bundled in the political 'loadout' he felt he had to equip to remain a loyal member of his tribe
