Hunter's First Law of the Internet

Within 10 minutes of any online forum exchange, some twat will always write "Don't feed the troll".

The twat in question is always either:

1) Some silly old turd who has been using the Internet since 1993 and thinks there are still only about 12 people on it.

2) Some clueless middle-class mum with too much time on her hands and to whom everyone else in the world (apart from her children, Jake and Florence) is a "troll".
SeanHunter: "I think the constant rolling news format of the TV media tends to turn serious cases like the McCann kidnapping or the Venables prison recall into circuses...."

Twat: "Don't feed the troll, people"

SeanHunter: "Ah there it is... Hunter's First Law of the Internet. And in record time, you twat."

Achim's Law of the Internet

Achim's Law of the Internet is the rule that anything posted on Social Media by a celebrity will offend someone .
Guy 1 : Man, I'm so done with everyone being offended on Twitter
Guy 2 : That's a good example of Achim's Law of the Internet

The Internet Law of California

A common social media principle that states the following:

On any post or other social media content that has even the slightest reference or mention of California, it is guaranteed that at least 1 person will comment about how the state is a shithole.

These commenters are usually from those who aren't from California and/or have never visited. Or from people who have visited the big cities of California or those who are jealous.

Typically, these comments vary from the following categories:

- California being a liberal/blue state

- California being infested with homeless

- Californian is a communist state

Remarks usually remain within these 3.

International Tribunal for the Law of the Sea

(MULTILATERAL GOVERNMENT) United Nations entity created in 1982 (entered operation 1994); arbitrates disputes related to the oceans, seas, and minerals underneath. It is based in Hamburg, Germany.

The International Tribune for the Law of the Sea has jurisdiction over those areas of the ocean floor that are not clearly delineated national waters. It was created by the UN Convention on the Law of the Sea.
The International Tribunal for the Law of the Sea is in the news a lot these days because of growing controversy over possible mineral rights to the Arctic Ocean.

Stealthie

when you're holding up your phone and making faces at it, as though you are taking a selfie, but you're really taking a picture of the person across from you or the wall or anything else that seems interesting but you don't want to be caught dead taking a picture of.

This action is often made more convincing by wiggling the eyebrows or opening the mouth, to pretend you're trying to get a Snapchat filter to work.
FRIEND A: "Did you just take a stealthie of me?"

FRIEND B (turning phone around): "no I was just using snapchat's new filter, see?"
