Wanneer een vrij fors gebouwd persoon in een snel tempo loopt, zal het overtollig vet van deze persoon op een kwal-achtige manier op en neer bewegen. Menig mens gebruikt hier de term "kwabbelen" voor.

"Dus ik zat op een bankje, kwam er opeens een vrouw voorbij gekwabbeld, je weet wel, in strakke sportkleren enzo. Het zag er niet uit!"
