A Dance Style derived from combining the underlying concept of Urban Kizomba with improvisational
freestyle of many other styles such as Swing, Latin and Argentine Tango. Mainly danced with a partner, the Leader connects to the
music, often using stimulants such as
alcohol or cannabis to heighten the experience, while the Follower must surrender to
fast changing movements often dictated by the musicality felt be the Leader.
The dance style was developed by a dancer named
Kirk, who during a transitional stage of his training, began to experiment with freestyle dancing. Primarily trained in Ballroom, then trainimg in many other styles including West Coast Swing and Tango - and later Zouk and Urban Kizombo often referred to as "Kiz". He combined Kiz with his name to form the name Kizirk to describe the new style.
That couple is dancing Kizirk to a really
hip song.
He really went Kizirk on that last song, his moves were
super Kizirky.
His dance partner sometimes has a difficult
time following Kizirk, because of its unstructured methods - she is really Kizirking when she gives in totally to his connection.
