Major League Kickball
MLKB is the first men's professional Major League Kickball league ever. Started and owned by FACKA (Frederick Adult Coed Kickball League) President Jason Mecler, MLKB leads off with 8 teams across the country, ( The Maryland Monarchs, Philadelphia Funk, New York Snappers, Chicago Kestrels, Phoenix Gilas, Akron Marauders, Los Angeles Threshers, and the DC Metros) and new teams on the way. Games will take place on professional softball fields. The traditional red ball has been replaced with a custom made, black, size 5 soccer "style" ball with treading and 9 men fielding. With an iphone, ipad and itouch app already out, real teams and major sponsorship, Major League Kickball is looking to take over as the next big professional sport.

Kickball is a game of passion, of tears, of blood. It is the single greatest game ever conceived, besting even that of a good game of dodgeball. Technically kickball isn't a game of tears and blood, but a good game is marked by the presence of these two elements (as well as a correctly sized (approx. 10") Red Rubber Ball).
Similarly to dodgeball, it is traditionally played with a red rubber ball, but any kickable object is accepted. Traditional rules are similar to that of baseball (an infinitely inferior game, even if it is more popular). The chief difference is that in kickball you kick a ball, instead of, slightly homoerotically, swing at balls with your (wood) bat. Kickball also involves the fielders attempting to get out the runners by tagging them, or (for those with skill) pegging them. Knocking them over is a plus, but, unless otherwise agreed upon, offers no actual advantage. Other rules are followed if agreed upon.
A good kickball player will rule his/her respective playground or park. Or LEAGUE!

Keg Kickball
A game that is very similar to regular kickball, except for home plate is replaced with a keg.
Rules are as follows:
1. A player must have a beer in his or her hand at all times, even in the field. Under no circumstances may a player set down his beer.
2. When coming up to kick, a player must fill his or her beer, and the beer must be finished immediately after making an out. If the player gets on base, he or she must completely finish the beer before crossing home plate. If the beer cannot be finished, the player is allowed to throw the beer in his face while going from third base to home.
3. All disputes are settled by jousting, which involves two players filling their cups and standing directly across from each other. The players then charge each other, beers held outward, and slam the other player in the chest with the cups. The player with the most beer left in his cup wins the dispute.
Other than the above changes, regular kickball rules apply.

Jimmy left the playing field, covered in beer, sweat, vomit, and mud. Many found this to be a peculiar mix, but Jimmy explained it's part of the territory for any dedicated keg kickball player.
