Karlukification

A narrowed version of Turkification that focuses on Karluk Turkic peoples (mainly Uzbeks and Uyghurs, as well as other Karluk-related groups), with the aim to create a unified Karluk-backed theme and removing earlier non-Karluk links.
The Uzbeks were originally a Kipchak people under Muhammad Shaybani, who expelled the Timurids out of Central Asia and seized the former Chagatai realm. Once they conquered the Central Asian heartland, the Shaybanid Uzbeks underwent a massive Karlukification, out of their admiration of Timur and the Timurid achievements. By the 17th century, the Uzbeks were largely assimilated and lost their original Kipchak origins, thus forming the identity of modern Karlukified Uzbeks that reside in modern-day Uzbekistan and nearby.

Shackteâu

A Shackteau is a humble, weather-beaten, structurally questionable shelter located in a spectacular or highly coveted place—Wales, Jackson Hole, Sun Valley, Crested Butte, coastal Maine, the Alps—where the building itself may be worth almost nothing, but the dirt, view, access, and mythology make it absurdly valuable.
