(pr. Kara-chokey) Usually encountered by drunken men attempting to sing Whitney Houston or Celine Dion songs after several alcoholic beverages, karachoke is the moment during the high note when the vocal chords snap, thus blocking the airways and causing a painful and embarrassing death through asphyxiation.

According to the coroner, Bob's death at the Christmas party was attributed to karachoke.
