Julia Salazar, NY state senator. A Christian Zionist who became disillusioned with Israel and suddenly started claiming to be a Sephardic Jew who was anti-Zionist. Lied about her background repeatedly, e.g. saying "like most Jews, I was told as a child that Israel would protect me" at Mondoweiss.

Allegedly converted to Reform Judaism at one point, which would still make her an Ashkenazi Jew at best. She claims Sephardi identity because anti-Zionists believe this is more legitimate.

Anti-Zionists claim that if Julia Salazar were pro-Israel, no one would care that she was a fake Jew. This is because thieves don't believe in honest people.
