Hexmix

A hexmix, often referred to as hexd or hexxd, is a style of song remixing / editing made most common in the underground soundcloud scene. When a song is “hexxd” it’s made to sound lo-fi, often a dreamy or trance-like feeling when listening. Many fx are used when making a hexmix such as bitcrushing, bass boosting, pitch shifting, tempo shifting, panning, leveling, phasers, flangers, and stutters. Most common hexxd song genres you’ll see are trap and rap.

I heard a Hexmix of a song I listened too a while ago, I felt like i was getting a headache from all the bass.
