The act of intensely rooting against a person, team, organisation or entity, gaining satisfaction from their failures. Often as a result of past behaviour, decisions, or general bad vibes.

Originally popularised by Counter-Strike commentator and personality Launders.

"He's been hatemaxxing Astralis all tournament - he watches all their games just to see them lose."
