hamdaan
a man like hamdaan cheats on his exams and gets caught on cctv. Nonetheless he's scraped a good honest life and is managing to power through geography a level. as a gujarati, naturally he eats pistachio kulfi and lentils everyday. Hence his trapper name hamDhaal chawal, which is ironic as he has never cooked dhaal a day in his life. But we must give him leeway as he is a male and also a middle child. Not only does he suffer from this, but also stockholm syndrome he is a victim of Bolton, trapped.

Boffin
British slang for a scientist or technical expert, esp . when the speaker is not certain of the expert’s specific field of study. Not necessarily derogatory, but typically used by persons without a technical background. In the US, the equivalent would be “egghead”, “squint”, or “geek.”
