A person born into upper-middle-class to upper-class safety/security who feels a strong subconscious desire to emulate struggle, whether it is the ‘broken’ characters romanticized in the media they consume, or identifying entirely with the problems they do have in an attempt to both justify their failures and separate themselves as ‘different’ from the culture that they don’t feel capable of rising to the top of.
