HBOT is a New Orleans slang word, which combines Head Bussa and Off Top. The very commonly used phrase, 'Off Top' means some undoubtable truth is being spoken of like a confident affirmative. Head Bussa is also another phrase similarly meant to convey something confident about one's self. The whole phrase basically is saying, 'Im confident.' It is even better when a group represents it. In Marrero, Louisiana, John Ehret High School created the phrase that became popular.
