Godwin's corollary

Godwin's Law: "As an online discussion grows longer, the probability of a comparison involving Nazis or Hitler approaches one."

Godwin's Corollary: No matter what the topic, any topic, e.g. Tiddlywinks, and the discussion grows longer, Trump will be brought up because anyone you don't like is literally Hitler and fascism.
"Tiddlywinks is a great game to pass the time. We play it all the time in Somerset."
"It's great you have the time. We have to deal with Trump. And the fact that you are not speaking up means you are probably a fascist too."
"Ah Godwin's corollary and Godwin's Law. A two for one simpleton."

Walker Corollary to Godwin's Law

The Walker Corollary to Godwin’s Law states:

As an online argument gets longer, the probability that somebody dismisses the other person’s point as “AI-generated” approaches 1.

A modern companion to Godwin’s Law, which observes that sufficiently long online arguments eventually produce a comparison to Hitler or the Nazis.

The Walker Corollary describes the increasingly common tendency to accuse someone of using ChatGPT or another AI tool instead of actually responding to their argument — particularly when the other person writes something unusually detailed, polished, well-sourced, or inconvenient to refute.

In practice, “AI-generated” has become the internet equivalent of: “I don’t have a response to what you said, so I’m going to attack how you supposedly wrote it instead.”
After twelve replies back and forth, he stopped arguing the actual point and used the Walker Corollary to Godwin's Law.
