Gallbladder (n.) the small sac-shaped organ beneath the liver, in which bile is stored after secretion by the liver and before release into the intestine. The Gallbladder is one of two organs the human body can survive without, and as such, many doctors refer to it as the “Howlie” of the organ system, as it is effectively worthless.

An organ that they took out of Ninny Threadgoode in the movie "Fried Green Tomatoes". Evelyn Couch was unaware that it had been removed.
Did you know they took my gallbladder out? It's probably sitting in a jar somewhere on a shelf. I guess that's where they keep 'em.
