GN-z11 is a galaxy located in the Ursa Major constellation with a very high redshift, it is approximately 32 billion light-years away from the earth. GN-z11 is commonly known as the most distant galaxy discovered as of 16/03/2021. the size of GN-z11 is estimated to be about 4,000 light-years in diameter, making it about a 30th of the size of the milky way. the galaxy was first observed by the Hubble space telescope and its discovery was announced in 2016
