An analysis literary or artistic work where the critic claims to have found the literal, only/sole verdicial, or irrefutable interpretation of a literary or artistic work.
Halsey: "Arroxa's claims on Shrek being written as a Ricardian socialist criticism on Consumerism is bordering on fundamentalist criticism. Not because of her take (which is interesting), but her claim that all other interpretations of the artistic work; that is Shrek, is phony -- which is a bit much.
