(Slang of holy Veneto), basically that stench emanated mainly from eggs or fish, not necessarily expired.

"Gh'è spussa da freschìn"

(translation) "It smells"

"Sì sì ti te se, te se da freschìn"
(translation) "yeah yeah, your're stupid"
