There are flowers that are edible and there are flowers that you would not want ingest, but because of their beauty, they feed the soul nonetheless. These flowers can also be human beings who make you smile at the sight of them, thus they have Flower Power. They are the inhabitants of Mother Earth who personifies the beauty of all that is good. Take notice, a person with Flower Power can be a healing source for your emotional well-being.

Some examples of people with Flower Power are Mother Teresa, Michael Jackson, Nelson Mandela and Lady Diana.

It is rooted in the opposition movement to the Vietnam War. The expression was coined by the American Beat poet Allen Ginsberg in 1965 as a means to transform war protests into peaceful affirmative spectacles.
