Fil lé cotté

Fil lé Cotté is the number between 9 and 10. Fil lé cotté (fil la cot tee, also pronounced fil la cot tay) never appears in a number twice. There is no such thing as fil lé cotté-ty. Fil lé Cotté can be used with decimals (Fil le Cotte point 5), or fractions (Fil le Cotte and a half). The number symbol used to represent Fil le Cotte displays a short vertical line, stroked upwards, that curves around into a c, and curves up to the level of the first vertical line in a curl.
