felicism

Felicism; (noun); is the direct antonym of Cynicism, and is characterized by faith and hope in human nature and the belief that people's action are motivated by altruism, virtue, empathy & love. A felic will see meaning and worth in any situation or individual.

The word felicism derives from the Latin word for cat which directly contrasts with the root of Cynicism which means dog-like.
It takes a high level of felicism to to trust that politicians have our nation's best interests at heart.

felixises

A disease caused by numerous bacteria in the mouth, ear, lungs, and heart or nose.
This will affect you badly. If too much bacteria is in your mouth your gums will start to hurt a lot. You will have to visit the dentist to heal yourself. If in the ear many bugs will come inside (especially tiny flies because they will eat the ear wax) and they might plant eggs in your ears. This may cause ear infection and you'll have to visit the otorhinolaryngologist this is the same for the lungs and nose but not for the heart... What happens if bacteria gets in your heart? Bacteria, fungi or other germs from another part of your body, such as your mouth, spread through your bloodstream and attach to damaged areas in your heart. If it's not treated quickly, endocarditis can damage or destroy your heart valves. Treatments for endocarditis include medications and, sometimes, surgery. If you have all of these together this is called a disease called felixises. It's just when too much bacteria takes over your body.
This is pronounced feel-ix-isis but spelled felixises.
Doctor: You have felixises. I'm afraid we will have to charge over 578k for this surgery.

Back when I lived in upstate new york

A meaningless, unimpressive, self-serving introduction. An indicator that the story about to be shared will be pointless and dumb.
Back when I lived in upstate new york, I also had to park on the street - on two occasions, we got enough snow, mixed with just the right plowing, that my car was lifted off the ground from so much snow being jammed underneath it.

Sister: This meeting was to discuss the rough draft of my essay, where we discussed the subsidiary questions I added in my rough draft. We also discussed the relationship between my main title and the real-life situations I chose to use in my essay. We discussed the structure of my essay as well, specifically the Math AOK section and how it relates to the contradiction of the title. This second meeting was particularly helpful in discussing the implications of my essay claims and how to apply the title across various areas of knowledge. There were many sections of the essay that could have been cut down in wordiness and the ways of knowing required further and more in-depth analysis.
