Fokker 

Dutch aircraft manufacturer that pioneered civil aviation untill the metal Douglas DC-2 outdated its classic designs involving steel tubes covered in cloth.
By building the DC-3 under licence Fokker gained experience in manufacturing metal aircraft, which was used for the DC-3's replacement the Fokker F-27 Friendship.
This was also the first aircraft using metal glue on a large scale.
The last series of aircraft it produced were the Fokker 50, 70 and 100 before they went bankrupt in 1996

A Dutch aircraft manufacturer that was founded in 1912 in Germany(but moved to the Netherlands in 1919), but went defunct in 1997.

The manufacturer's most recent aircraft include the 50/60, 70, and 100; all were built before they stopped in 1997. The 4 aircraft mentioned are still in service today as of Jan 2022.
