It has many Families living in different areas. e.g. Castleview,Earl Rise, Kilnford, Castle Drive; Dundonald Primary School Has over 100 Pupils from the village working/ having an education in it.

Dundonald is a great place to live if you are looking for quietness, unless you live in bruce avenue. there can be alot of rabble in that area.
