The estute art of saying fuck you through presenting excessive amounts of data that confuse the shit out of people that they just agree for the sake of moving on.

I thought I understood my business by Judy’s datalisation made me rethink my entire strategy. Now I’m just confused

Grad student 1: Hey, what are you up to?

Grad student 2: Oh, I'm just datalyzing. I think I will have to datalyze all day long.

The topic today, class, is datalysis - how to cope with data analysis.

An overwhelming display of information and data with limited insightful analysis. A presentation with excessive amounts of pure data that is not accompanied with straightforward conclusions and has not undergone rigorous processing.

General McChrystal's Powerpoint presentation was a datalanche. For an hour he showed us numbers and charts, but in the end there was no meaningful message or purpose.
