DETRENDITION

The act of realizing "Trends" or "Trendy" things such as slangs, bandwagons, social behaviors or attitudes have become so ridiculous that one cannot help but revert back to being a free range human that no longer feels the urge to bleat with the rest of the flock.
The individual began their detrendition when all the people who once demanded so many freedoms suddenly began wanting to revoke the ones they fought for.
