Countershade or Countershading:
1) To knowingly
lie or make false statements or to camoflauge the
truth only for the sole purpose of self-benefit. Self-
enrichment.
( I caught both my attorney and my financial advisor countershading their advice to me!)
In the natural world (animals) countershading, also known as Thayer's Law is a natural method of camouflage in which an
animal's coloration is darker on the upper side and lighter on the underside of the body.
2) The exact opposite of throwing shade. To
diss someone in public for proven wrongs, insuring their names and
actions are exposed.
