1.) Incorrect, made up facts generated by a generative artificial intelligence.
2.) Similar to confabulation or hallucinations, but directly representing 'facts' which are false.

The AI confabricated facts about George Washington, and when I used them in my essay the teacher pointed out that the facts were not true and I got a D on my paper.
