A problem or issue one deals with as a result of their own dim witted actions. A bad situation created by one's own stupidity that is often difficult to navigate.

Meg is in a quite a codumdrum because she is broke after spending all of her money on drugs and getting fired for being high at work.
Jill needs a ride to the store for beer because she lost her liscence from a dwi, what a codumdrum!
