Pronounced "sank-ah-set", literally means "five to seven".

Cinq à sept is a French term for a visit to one's mistress...Cute name for stuff you do discreetly with someone other than your spouse between five and seven o'clock so no one notices...

Colleague: Hey James why are you in a hurry to leave work?

James: I have a cinq à sept with a bitch ha!

Colleague: You have a mistress!! Unbelievable...Well, have a good cinq à sept!

James: Yeah! (kick in the balls)

Cinq à sept 

Pronounced "sank-ah-set", literally means "five to seven".

In Canada (especially Québec), a “cinq à sept” is a happy hour event, often but not always following a work day. Despite the literal translation, these events often run from 6:00pm to 8:00pm, or any other block of time after 5:00pm but before 9:00pm.
