Chique 

South African definition of a hip, cool girl- friend. A term of endearment to girls found regularly lounging next to the pool, downing tequila shooters, drinking vodka lime on the rocks and generally giving group hugs on a regular basis. Only used within certain groups to link each other together.

"Howzit Chique? Having a fantastic afternoon?"
"Hey Chique, it sounds like you had a cooker last night."
"Chique - what's happening out there in the wilderness?"

heroin chique 

To be extraordinarily skinny, representing that of a heroin addict. Often used to refer to unhealthy-looking models. Doesn't necessarily have anything to do with heroin.

Nicole Richie and Pete Doherty are heroin chique.

An object which is intentionally created or designed to appear antiqued or distressed, such as furniture or clothing.

That whitewashed pine table in the antique shoppe is so Shabby Chique, it just needs an old railway lamp on it, and it will be perfect!

Colloquial term used to describe one who is geeky but not nerdy or dorky. Typified as one who paints model cars and used to read horrible historys and is, at a young age, a fan of murder mysteries
