When a cheerleading squad purposely challenges another squad by mimicking stunts, cheers, etc.

Also occurs when a squad disrespects the unstated rules of cheering by starting a cheer in the middle of the other team's routine/cheer.

Cheerleader1: Wow, we just did that cheer 2 seconds ago.

Cheerleader2: Yeah, they're definitely cheerwarring with us.
