Tech Covultion

A proposed framework describing the reciprocal relationship between human development and technology, in which increasing interaction with digital systems influences attention, perception, sensory processing, emotional regulation, relationships, and meaning-making. Within some spiritual traditions, these changes are also interpreted as affecting one's energetic or auric experience; others understand them in psychological, neurological, or social terms.

Tech Co-Volution recognizes that humans are adapting to an unprecedented level of continuous technological interaction. Artificial intelligence, smartphones, social media, wearable devices, virtual environments, and algorithmic systems increasingly shape how people perceive, communicate, create, and regulate their attention.

This process may contribute to experiences such as:

Sensory overstimulation.
Information saturation.
Cognitive fatigue.
Emotional reactivity.
Difficulty sustaining attention.
Nervous system dysregulation.
Reduced opportunities for rest and reflection.
Increased need for intentional boundaries.

Some individuals, particularly highly sensitive or neurodivergent people, report experiencing these changes as shifts in their energetic presence or "auric field." This framework recognizes those reports as meaningful personal experiences while acknowledging that such interpretations are understood differently across spiritual, philosophical, and scientific perspectives.

The impacts of tech covultion are real on the biological and physciological systems in human, namely the nervous system. Tech Covultion should be supported and integrated with screen time boundary protection practices, more time in nature and learning other kinds of sensory stimulation supports to counter balance the impacts
