I'm fairly sure this was Homestar's failed mimicry of Strong Bad deleting e-mail in the Strong Bad e-mail episode where he leaves and Homestar comes into the room and cannot figure out the word "deleted".

A mix of the words ban and delete. Often used by administers and/or moderators as they have the power to do so. Balete originated from Homestar Runner, a popular flash site.

Please balete him before he causes anymore trouble.

A word used in a wordHomestar Runner/word flash that has replaced the word "Deleted" in message boards. Means the same as "Deleted", although often used jokingly, or when a wordModeration/word is imminent, or has already happened.
