Asda, short for Associated Dairies, was founded in 1965 by two Yorkshire dairy farmers, bought by Wal-Mart in 1999, which is currently suffering from low availability much to the dismay of its loyal customers. Apparently this is normal for Wal-Marts.
A customer came up to me and told me the shelves were empty again. Like I didn't know. I then proceeded to buy apple Pop-tarts, but there were none. No Mario 64 DS copies either.

A supermarket in Britain, part of the Wal-Mart chain. Quite popular with the moms of chavs and poor people. Most common people who shop there pronounce it "asdis". Despite all of its unattractive associations it is actually one of the best supermarkets, it looks better then a lot of other supermarkets and they have good DVDs. Plus they are the only ones who play music.
Im ashamed to say i like asda and i do shop there. its just all those common mucks bringing it down.

Supermarket in the UK. Part of the WalMart empire. Paradise for the nutritionally illiterate. Frequented by unhealthy looking families with cars that look well cared-for. One level above Co-op on the supermarket totem pole, looks like Waitrose in comparison to Lidl

Adj. meaning cheap or skanky due to its common use with people who shop at that supermarket. This started off due to the advertising campaign - 'Asda Mums' and was involuntary but oh well, bad luck, Asda, what are you going to do?
