The American version of Britpop, originating in the early 90's as a sub-group of the alternative rock/roots rock genre.
Train, Cracker, and the BoDeans are all examples of Ameripop.

A new music genre, spearheaded by Austin honky tonk king, Dale Watson. Unlike today's "country" music, Ameripolitan music has prominent roots influence and is broken into four related subcategories: Honky Tonk, Western Swing, Rockabilly and Outlaw.

2. Someone from America who embraces the slavic "Gopnik" lifestyle, attire, music "Hardbass", and crouching style "Squat".
3. One who squats with semechki in a track suit.
