The number you get when you are beyond bored and you decide to add up every number 1-100.
I was so bored that I added up every number one through one hundred and I got 5050.

5050 man

A male who thinks he’s a man, but isn’t, that likes to go fifty fifty on bills, dinner, rent, life and even love. Everything he does he will do with the mindset of getting something in return. He is not a provider he is your lesbian girlfriend.
I can tell he’s a 5050 man because he asked me what I can bring to the table.

Dell OptiPlex 5050

A line of desktop computers released in 2017, primarily used in offices and schools. Despite being 6th/7th Gen Intel, the i5 and i7 models are still capable for most casual/office applications.
Guy 1: Hey my school gave me this epic Dell OptiPlex 5050 for free!
Guy 2: Nice! Good luck running anything on it!
Guy 1: Well, I'm writing this definition from one, so that's something.

50-50-90 rule

Anytime you have a 50-50 chance of getting something right, there's a 90% probability you'll get it wrong.
When flipping a coin, take into account the 50-50-90 rule, most likely you'll be wrong.

The 50-50-100 Rule

An even more hyperbolic variant of The 50-50-90 Rule. In a situation where a subject has a 50/50 percent chance of getting something right, they will get it wrong 100% of the time.

This "rule" was popularized within the Super Mario Maker troll level community by popular Twitch streamer CarlSagan42, and is just one example of a reoccurring joke designed to showcase how easy it is to fool the average player into doing something wrong.
Player: *decides to collect a powerup which the level kills them for in the next room* "It's LITERALLY The 50-50-100 Rule. This happens EVERY time!"

Reddit 50/50

A well-known subreddit where all the images have the "spoiler" tag by default. Above each post is a description of two things that you may see if you click the image. (The website chooses which one it will be at random.)One of them is typically quite pleasant, while the other is...not so pleasant.

For example, you may see a 50/50 where one of the possible posts is a bunch of kittens sleeping in a box, while the other option is a man waking up from anesthesia while undergoing open-heart surgery. (This is just an example. But the bad outcome is not an exaggeration; some of them are actually very graphic and utterly terrifying.)

...You get the idea. This subreddit can either make your day, or it can scar you for life.
Reddit 50/50 is a very popular challenge with Youtubers. But please, enter it at your own risk. You may want to puke if you get the bad outcome one too many times.
