Suicide doors 

Suicide doors are automobile doors that are hinged on the edges closer to the back of the vehicle. The name refers to the danger of such a door being hit by another vehicle while parked at the curb--slamming an open door shut with enough force to kill.

The 1966 Lincoln Continental in <i>The Matrix</i> had Suicide Doors.

suicide knob

A knob attached to the rim of a steering wheel that enables a driver to turn the wheel by moving the knob. Very common in the late 1940s and through the 1950s. Illegal in most places since then. Also called a nigger knob.

Ermal has a suicide knob on the steering wheel of his Case tractor. He decided to put one on the wheel of his Pontiac, too, so he could spoon with Ida Mae while he drives.

"Suicide Silence" Term used when someone wins by default. Also used when someone gets lucky. Also used when someone sells out. Also used when someone with no talent gets ahead by being as cliche as possible.

Dude, they got lucky the good bands car broke down, otherwise they wouldnt have had a crowd. They pulled a Suicide Silence on that one.

Not exclusive to but characterised by Emo culture.

Usually female or gay male with borderline personality disorder who is so frustrated with life that self harm, contemplation and attempt of suicide, alcohol and drug escapism becomes desperate feeling of worthlessness directed toward wanting to be treated like a rape victim by any energy donor who happens along to sexually abuse them.

Subculture predating but augmented by and emerging from mobile internet dating apps. Falls within BDSM categories because cutting as sexual fetishism.

Songs such as Marilyn Mansons ‘disposable teens’ and characters such as the girl in Fight Club summarise it.

“Hey man she’s a suicide slut , I’d wreck her.”
