Hammer Thumb

When a person's thumb:
1) has a hammer related injury
2) is unusually wide and stumpy

I just hit my thumb with a hammer today. This hammer thumb makes me feel like an clutz.

"Have you seen Susie's Hammer Thumb?"

Hammered

When one wakes up semi-naked/ naked, smeared in makeup which is most likely is not theirs, wondering what the fuck happened the night before, feeling like death, wondering who one kissed/had sex with, where the hell one is, and why one has bruises in such unusual places.

I drank so much last night. I was absolutely hammered.

hammer of justice

One of five basic volleyball hitting methods. Difficult to master, but when done correctly, is arguably the most effective technique in all of volleyball. One performs the hammer of justice (or HOJ, pronounced "hahj") by making a fist with one's right hand, covering it with the left hand, holding one's hands above one's head and striking the ball downward. Believed to have originated in Nashville.

Will: AAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH!
Deanna: Oh my God, it's the hammer of justice!
Andrew: Will, you know we can't handle that! Play fair!
Will: Yeah, I know. I guess I should just use the HOJ sparingly.
