Used to describe how you feel inside when you find yourself in a pleasing set of circumstances, or at least in comparison to a worse outcome that also might have occurred. It does not suggest glee at another's misfortunes but rather highlights one's own fortunate situation.

eg. 1: The forecast predicted rain for our camping trip, but the weather turned out to be so gorgeous we were laughing.

eg. 2: While waiting at emergency, I was upset over my ankle injury. But then when I saw the paramedics bring in a 7-year-old girl covered all over with first-degree burns, I realized I should be laughing.

langhorne beefsteak

First introduced in 1994 in historic Langhorne, Pennsylvania. During anal intercourse, the female shits, resulting in a shit covered dick. The dick is then placed in a hotdog bun which is then eaten by the recipient. This is not to be confused with a chili dog. Toppings may be added such as mustard or ketchup.

Loughrey

'To do a loughrey'

This is a colloquial term from Coleraine, County Londonderry, Northern Ireland.

The phrase refers to a method of laughter; the perpetrator unveils the joke and proceeds to slap their leg. Simultaneously, the perpetrator adopts an inhuman grin, projects a dry hoarse laugh and scans the room with piercing, desperate eyes with the intention to induce laughter from at least one sympathetic person.

If the attempt is unsuccessful, the perpetrator must proceed to insult someone to cover up their failure.
