the term between fail and epic fail used to describe a slighly worse failure but not an extremly bad failure.

me: "um thats a pretty big failure but it isn't epic."

friend: "then why not call it an absolute fail?"

You Fail

You Fail at...(insert verb/noun here)
You use this to tell people they are horrible or can't do a certain thing.
It can be used as a joke to some, but also to make people really mad by a major insult.
Mostly it is used as a joke though.

holy fail

When one possibly faces the greatest moment of their life, only to fail miserably.

One day, during one of his afternoon walks, Mark looked down on the ground to find a sealed mint condition Action Comics #1. Bending over to pick it up he toppled to the ground, breaking his neck in the process. Mark had finally discovered the holy fail.

Too hot to fail

Someone who avoids failure on the basis of attractiveness rather than his/her merits. It applies to presentations, oral exams, job interviews where the individual is under-qualified, under-prepared or under-smart but still receives a favourable evaluation because of the individual's appearance.

Heidi: Can you believe Brooke passed her oral after her three day bender in Vegas? I'm surprised she could even form a coherent sentence.

Marisa: She didn't have to. She's too hot to fail.

It may be extended further,

Nancy: Megan Fox is shallow and a terrible actress.
Billy: Ya but I bet her movie does well. She's too hot to fail.
