granny driver

The little old blue haired lady who drives a car way to big for her.She cannot see over the steering wheel.She drives around with her right turn signal on constantly.The rear view mirror is useless because it is cocked into a make-up mirror position for applying lipstick.Usually has the back seat full of poodles or other useless dogs. Comes to a complete stop when making right hand turns for fear of flipping the car. Uses the horn instead of the brakes.

I'd rather follow a school bus at 3 o'clock than a granny driver.

Granny Shot

Noun:
A method of shooting a basketball. The shooter will start holding the basketball with both hands downward in front of their body with both arms extended. The shooter will then quickly raise the ball, keeping their arms extended, and release the ball before the arms become perpendicular to the body.

The shot is generally looked on to be performed by those with little basketball skill. The name is used in a derogatory manner implying that one shoots in a way that a grandmother would.

It's so funny when Jenna wants to play with us, because she always uses the granny shot.

1)A term to describe the kind of women's underpants that are considered "uncool" if you're under the age of 60, or something. In this aspect they are similar to tightie whities for boys. Granny pants are usually high cut, with a highly elastic waistband that will come up to at least your belly button. They may also come in floral patterns, pink patterns, or other "old lady" looking styles- just like any other type of underwear, actually, anything's possible stylewise.
People who wear granny underwear usually wear it because
A) their mom bought it for them
B) they don't like thongs or bikini cuts
C) they're playing some kind of sport (oh, c'mon, you don't seriously think that all female athletes wear thongs, do you? Most "sporty" girls underpants are NOT thongs or really low cut.)
D) they just like them and don't care what others think.

Also called grannie panties, granny underwear, etc.

Locker room:
-"Ew, you wear granny panties?"
-"Yeah, that's right, I do. Get over it. At least they don't go up my a** like thongs."
