During conversation, when any debatable topic point is raised, an automatic response to pull out one's smart phone and Google it.

Dick: "I thought licorice candy had anise in it."

Jane: "I thought licorice is a different plant than anise."

Dick: (retrieving HTC Incredible from pocket) "Hold on, I'll Google it!"

Jane: "Not again! You need to see a doctor about your Google Reflex."

Close reflex

The close reflex is a reflex many internet users gain, be it from pop-ups, shock sites or Rick Roll's.

The close reflex is triggerd when similar parts of the brain react to an image on a computer screen, like the throat does when fingers or penis are forced into the mouth. Making it related to the gag reflex.

Mark is browsing the internet, when his friend John sends him a link on msn to website called <Insert disgusting shock image website here>. Upon the webpage loading, he instantly looks away in disgust, and his close reflex kicks in. His hand quickly moves up and to the right and clicks. Causing the web page to be closed within seconds.

A generic alternative to Netflix and chill. Though Netflix and chill is a euphemism for sex, Hulu and relax is actually watching Hulu but complaining to your significant other/booty call about the mainstream popularity of Netflix.

Person 1: What are you doing this weekend?

Elevator Reflex

When in an elevator it is the tendency of people to avoid looking at another's face or acknowledging another person. It is caused by a lack of ease which comes from people being forced to intrude on each other’s personal space within the confines of an elevator. Personal space is the region around a person which they psychologically consider to be theirs. If this space is invaded by another person they will feel threatened and uneasy.

Inside an elevator people are forced to stand closer together than they would otherwise. This invasion of each other's personal space makes each person feel uneasy. To deal with the feeling of invasion people look upward or at the elevator numbers in an attempt to ignore the intrusion into their space. This the elevator reflex
