Diet Southern

Is a person from the border south region of the southern United States such as Maryland,Virginia,Missouri and Oklahoma. Instead of a deep southern accent they have a mild twang and elongate their O’s. They still cook southern food, parts of their state are still extremely politically conservative and religious wise are Methodist or baptist, and they tend to be more down home and hospitable. Sometimes because of the metropolitan areas of these states which tend to be more similar to the Midwest or northeast this region has to re affirm it’s traditional southern identity to the rest of the south.

Eastern shore Maryland isn’t part of the Deep South but it’s definitely diet southern at the least with that twang they have and being below the mason dixon line

Southern Snowbunny

A term used to describe a white female raised in the southern United States that is openly or secretly sexually attracted to non-white men(I.e, men of color). They go against societal tradition and seek taboo. They want sexual intercourse with men outside their own race.

Elizabeth gives zero fucks about societal norms in her hometown of Jackson, MS. She only sleeps with dark skin guys and she was raised by two racist white people. What a southern snowbunny.

“Southern Rap”

-Also known as “Southern Hip Hop” “South Coast Hip Hop” or “Dirty South Music”

-Defined as a term for a regional genre of American hip hop music that emerged in the Southern United States, especially in Atlanta, New Orleans, Houston, Memphis, and Miami—the five of which constitute the "Southern Network" in rap music.

Many early Southern rap artists released their music independently or on mixtapes after encountering difficulty securing record-label contracts in the 1990s.
